Greetings fellow adventurer! My name is Aj and along with my wife, Jenna, we created some amazing steampunk characters for our upcoming game, Topexx Dominions. I present Amzi Goodenough, leader of the Bloodfire Warriors; Captain Bryant Templeton, leader of the Ironhide Warriors; Colonel Mortimer Zachariah, leader of the Gun Metal Medicine Men; Dread Pirate Ina, Captain of the Merry Chase; Blackjack Zacch, Intelligencer Extraordinaire; and Huntress Haziel, She Fixes All Your Problems. Each miniature comes with its own unique base that is scaled to fit a 35mm miniature.

The (American) Football Fandom Is Going Nuts
Apparently there is an important episode of football on today. In fact, the entire football fandom is going nuts over it. There will be large gatherings with lots of cosplay involved. Although, I've heard the tickets to the con are outrageous, so many of them will watch the live streamed version. :)
Still Waiting on Some Surveys
I don't have much to comment on, but I want to make sure I communicate regularly. We have 11 people left to answer their surveys and 2 weeks to go them done. The master and production molds for all 6 figures are complete and we're ready to begin manufacturing. I feel good about both those.

Surveys and Production Status

Survey Status
As of this morning we've received 45 of 67 survey responses, which is great considering we sent the surveys out a week ago. If we get all the responses in early we could start producing figures early. Here is a list of the figures by order status.

Production Status
On to the production update, I'm happy to say that the master molds are complete, and the production molds should finish up today. We set 1 Feb as our deadline for having both the master and production molds complete, so we're right on schedule, in fact we're a little ahead of schedule. That's not to say we didn't encounter problems, we had to reprint Mortimer Zachariah three times so we could get his plague mask to turn out right.

We Received Our Funds
Today I checked my company's bank account and they have processed our Kickstarter funds, and BackerKit approved our project yesterday. That means I will send out the BackerKit surveys here in just a bit. If you have any questions or comments please let me know and I'll help you any way I can.

Preorders and Backerkit

Breaks Over and Next Steps
Actually, we've been back at it for a few days. I setup BackerKit and opened up the preorder system (more on that below). We're still in the post-campaign-waiting-on-Kickstarter-funding window, but once we receive the funds I'll send out another update letting you know when to expect the BackerKit surveys. I have everything setup so it should be a quick turnaround. We will leave the surveys open for a month, but the sooner you respond the better.
Address Collection and Shipping
BackerKit will collect your address and charge you for any add-ons and shipping. If you have any issues with BackerKit, your survey, or any campaign issues please let me know. Here are the shipping and handling fees.

Preorders
I enabled the BackerKit preorder system, so if you have any friends who missed out on the Kickstarter tell them they can still get the miniatures at the Kickstarter price of $11 each. There is a button on the Kickstarter page that will take you to the Topexx Minis Preorder page.
Miniatures Update
We started the master mold process for the stretch goal miniatures. By the time everyone completes their surveys, we will be primed and ready to produce your miniatures.
BackerKit Info (If You're New to BackerKit)
You will not need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. If you need to change your survey responses, add or remove add-ons, or update your shipping information, you can click on the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.) BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments. If you used Facebook to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you'd prefer to use, please message me.

Next Steps
We have already started working on the master molds for the stretch goal figures, and I've created the BackerKit for the project. In fact, I'm testing the surveys to make sure as many scenarios as possible are covered. I plan to launch the survey shortly after Kickstarter pays us, which is projected for 18 January. I'll send out another update once we get to that milestone.
In the meantime, it's been a long month, and Jenn and I are going to take a few days and relax.
PS Future Plans
You've asked about our future plans, so before I go I'll share a teaser. We have started working on the next set of miniatures and we're eyeing a Summer 2017 Kickstarter. We don't want to say too much because we're in the fledgling idea stage, so I'll leave you with some concept art.
